SR 10 IQNET

SR 10 IQNET

Who is concerned?

This service is open to all organisations wishing to certify their social responsibility management systems, regardless of their size or market

Framework

A growing number of organisations are becoming aware of the importance of reacting to the impact that their activities and decisions can have on society and the environment, as well as the benefits that socially responsible management contributes to sustainable development, health and the welfare of society.
Furthermore, the growing expectations of society and stakeholders that organisations should demonstrate ethical behaviour and enhance transparency in their management need to be addressed.
In order to provide a concrete response to such expectations, the International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO) set up a working group which developed the ISO 26000 standard as guidance to assist organisations along the path towards social responsibility. Organisations need a model to enable them to assimilate the recommendations, guidelines and principles of ISO 26000 in their day-to-day activities.
IQNET SR 10 is an international standard that enables the integration of social responsibility into an organisation's overall business strategy and allows an organisation to advertise this achievement through certification.

Audits are conducted by experts in social responsibility and stakeholder engagement.
Certification against the IQNET SR 10 specification is based on the Deming cycle, or PDCA (Plan, Do, Check, Act) methodology, and its structure facilitates its integration and compatibility with other management models.
